The Eureka Centre | Home of the historic Eureka Flag

The Eureka Centre is situated on the actual historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade. Formerly known as M.A.D.E (Museum of Australian Democracy), the centre is home to Australia’s historic Eureka Flag and provides a fascinating insight into Australia’s road to democracy from the harsh gold rush days. The comprehensive, interactive displays make it a must-see for all ages.

The Eureka Centre is surrounded by the scenic Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens and ideal for a family picnic. Additionally, the Museum and Cafe are open daily.
