Located at 49 Lydiard Street North Ballarat and boasting a total of 6 Mainstream screens (2 of which screen Digital 3D) and 2 Gold Class screens.

Regent Cinemas Ballarat offers locals and visitors to the city a wide range of films from Blockbusters and 3D, to quality Showcase (Art-house) films. Cinema 1 is Regent Cinema’s historic main cinema which seats over 700 and caters for mainstream and 3D films. Cinema 1 also has the capacity to accommodate live events such as bands, functions and conferencing. There are also Satellite facilities which allow broadcast of special around the world events.

The famous Regent Theatre was originally built-in 1938. The cinema initially comprised 1 screen and seated 2100 people.

The Regent Cinema has been one of Regional Victoria’s leaders of Cinema Technology and in 2009, installed one of the largest 3D Screens into Cinema1. The Cinemas have also been outfitted with the latest Digital Projectors and Satellite broadcast.
